Updating Galaxy y to the latest official firmware
Update your Galaxy y with the latest official firmware (2.3.6) DDLA1
I've been using this ROM for few months and I find it a great value than installing other custom ROMs. Although the version is still 2.3.6, its more refined and built Rock solid. Lets take a look at some parts of the ROM.
Advantages:
- Stable and Refined Lockscreen
- No lags
- Increased battery life
- No force close issue for some apps
Disadvantages:
- The version is still Gingerbread
- Slight flickering, but noticeable.
Having said that, this ROM is way above it previous built.
Installing Instructions:
- Download the package from here and extract it
- Download Odin and open it
- Choose the relevant files and connect your mobile device, and start. that's it
