AdSense - A unique review
This is a guide to get started with AdSense, Google’s advertisement programme which is based on pay per click. The usage is so simple, to earn money with AdSense, you’ll need your own website or a blog. But Google requirement for the approval of the website is much more complicated. Google is a global brand, which guarantees its advertisers that they don’t pay in vain. So, you’ll have to meet the following things to get approved. Note that this program is for those who are 18 and above. So even if you have all the qualifying content, yet under aged, you have to wait, no other go.
Creating & Hoisting a Website:
If you have money, go for premium domains. But if you don’t have a big pocket, you can use sub domains, although the first option would be a better one. There are many sites which provide free sub domains with the option of upgrading it to pro. Some of the best I found was, Weebly and Webs. They are awesome, with lot of features. This is one of the basic and simplest ways to create a site. If you are a programmer, you can create your own site all by yourself.
Content of your site:
AdSense, as I described earlier, is a pay per click programme. The content in your site should be more, not 10 to 15 lines. Make as much as possible. If you have a blog, atleast you need 50 – 60 posts (not official, but from my experience, I’ve heard many users getting rejected for less content). You can’t control the ads that appear on your site, but Google. So Google will crawl over your content and then make relevant ads to appear on the space for ads. So the content is important.
Make sure that all you posts come under same title. Say, if your site is related to health, go for those only. Don’t jump to Computer immediately on the next post, especially on blogs. Content under same topics will make it easy for Google Crawler to skim and to display ads, thus approving your site easily.
When you feel your site is good, apply for AdSense. This is not a Get Rich Quick programme; you have to work more to promote your site. Getting approved is not gonna make you a millionaire. To more about increasing your revenue, please read my article “How to increase AdSense Revenue”.
Earnings:
When a user clicks your ads, you get paid. But that doesn’t mean all the ads have same bucks per clicks. Although Google wont tells you how much we earn from each click, but I think the range is between 5 cents – 10 dollars. So more demanded and less available content in the internet seems to have the higher priority, and site about awareness of Common diseases or Cancer will tend to make more than that of the entertainment site. I wish you the best be earn with AdSense.
